Decision-Making Support Tool
Helping Farmers and rural stakeholders navigate teh world of digital technologies
The Decision-Making Support Tool (DST) is a user-friendly tool designed to empower farmers and other stakeholders in making informed decisions about the optimal digital technology configurations and solutions for use in their region. The tool is leveraging Large Language Model (LLM) technologies to provide rich information through a chat-based interface. By utilizing data from the Living Labs experiments, surveys, and interviews, as well as carefully curated knowledge base, the DST assists users in selecting suitable solutions that align with their requirements as well as EU-defined socio-economic and environmental goals. DST not only answers the questions, but also guides the conversation to collect all relevant information before providing suggestions and recommendations.
How It Works:
DST is as easy to use as sending a text message. Whether you are on a web browser or using a messaging app on your phone, you can talk to DST just like you would with a friend or a trusted advisor. Simply type in your questions or concerns about digital technologies, and DST will respond with helpful advice and suggestions (or will admit that does not have an answer if the question is not related to the use of digital technologies in rural regions).
Who Can Use DST?
Anyone involved in farming or living in a rural area can use DST. It does not matter if you are a seasoned farmer or new to the field; our tool is designed to be user-friendly and accessible to everyone.
Key Features:
• Informed decision-making: The DST works off a carefully curated private knowledge base to offer users support for taking decisions, aligning choices with socio-economic and environmental considerations.
• Simple and easy: No complicated instructions or technical jargon. DST talks your language.
• Accessible anywhere: Use it on your computer, tablet, or phone. All you need is an internet connection.
• User-friendly interface: Featuring a Natural Language prompt interface, the DST ensures accessibility for diverse users through web and messaging application interfaces.
• Conversation driven: In addition to being able to respond to the users’ questions, DST has built-in logic to drive the conversation with the users in order to collect all necessary input information before generating the answer.
