Shared Environmental Monitoring Platform
Challenge:
Ensuring the preservation of natural parks and preventing environmental harm requires effective monitoring of air quality, water quality, and noise levels.
Aim:
Develop a comprehensive environmental monitoring system to track and analyze environmental parameters, promoting the preservation of the nature park.
Solution:
Deploy a set of monitoring devices for:
- Air quality (temperature, CO2, NO2, SO2, O3, PM)
- Water quality (temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, EC/salinity, oxidation-reduction potential)
- Noise levels
Leverage the infrastructure established in UC 5.1 for continuous data collection and transfer. Data will be accessible via a shared platform, supporting environmental preservation and timely response to harmful activities.
Benefit:
This use case minimizes environmental damage and disturbances to wildlife, contributing to the park's ecological balance and biodiversity. Real-time data and responsive capabilities enhance the experience for park visitors, rangers, and surrounding farmers, promoting long-term conservation efforts.
